Patch no cd aoe 3 fr

Hello all, I am trying to play Age of Empires 3 on my laptop but it does not have CD hardware on my laptop. Now, how do I play the game with the files since it's asking me to insert the CD when I click the game icon. I wonder if you copy the files from the CD, which would include the disk check DRM that don't get installed. You may also need to retrieve some Registry keys the game may have made when installing on your desktop machine, and merge them into the laptops Registry?
