South georgia college nursing program reviews
They even recently added a sushi place in the nursing building. It's VERY easy to get lost in the first few weeks of classes. I honestly didn't figure out some shortcuts to places until my senior year, so don't feel bad if you still can't find Herty or Rosenwald. Last, but not least, the busses. If you haven't had the bus doors close in your face at least once, you deserve an award. Whether you get left by a bus or not, remember that GA Southern isn't all bad and the experience is what you make it.
Madison Jones. Classes vary from students. This gives students the experience in a variety of settings, as well as extra help when needed. Georgia Southern is located in Statesboro Georgia and the small town is very welcoming to the students. Jade Rogers. The courses will challenge you and most majors require you to complete an internship before you graduate. This school tries very hard to give you a great college experience.
I loved my school. William Gallman. Specifically, the College of Education provides a top-notch degree in Education where it equips educators for the real world of teaching. Not only do you learn pedagogy and researched-based strategies to help students obtain world-class academic success, but educators in the College of Education are actively involved in the community surrounding them by participating in student intern opportunities all throughout the program.
The College of Educations helps make the practice practical! The faculty were always friendly and eager to help. The resources available to all students, including the 24 hour library, health services, advisors, excellent housing, and on-campus activities, truly enhanced my college experience and made my four years incredible. The Recreation Activity Center gym is absolutely incredible with everything to offer from machines to basketball courts to classes to an indoor rock climbing wall!
The housing options at GSU are great too, I thoroughly enjoyed living on campus all four years. Rebecca Burchette. You must be prepared to attend graduate school. The Georgia Southern University Psychology program is great for that, if you want it to be. I know many people who feel unprepared for graduation and are worried about their future. However, I know many people, including myself, that are fully prepared to graduate.
Georgia Southern will not hold your hand and guide you step by step through how to train yourself for graduate school, but there will be plenty of opportunities. The psychology professors are more than happy to get to know you, they love when you ask questions, and will help you when you ask. They get excited when you ask to help them with their lab work or even do a study with them.
Personally, I can vouch that every psychology professor here wants to see you succeed. I had the advantage of sitting down with my professor of choice for my masters. We got to discuss my future plans for research, and I could not feel more ready to start out in graduate school. In sum, if you are the kind of person that is ready to take advantage of the opportunities available to you, then the Psychology program and Georgia Southern is right for you. It changed after I graduated so hopefully it is better now.
One of my professors was my advisor but they didn't put too much effort into knowing what I needed to graduate. I think they wanted to focus on their classes and students which is great but I needed an advisor who knew what they were talking about. One of my favorite things about my degree program was my professors. They really cared about the students and went out of their way to be available for assistance outside the classroom.
Alexis Gonzalez. My degree program was challenging, yet prepared me to be successful in my graduate studies. My academic advisors guided me throughout my course work. My professors were always there when I needed assistance. I excelled throughout my degree program and will continue to excel in my graduate studies.
